Ada Mae Rees, age 86, of 4414 Cedar Ridge, Quincy, died Sunday, June 13, 2004 at 3:55 am in St. Vincent's Home.
She was born December 6, 1917 in Brown County, Illinois, the daughter of Fred and Rosa Anna Lambert Hanke.
On October 31, 1934, she married Walter L. Ennen in Clayton, IL, and he preceded her in death in 1967.
She married Frank Henry Rees April 20, 1974 in Quincy. He preceded her in death August 20, 1989.
Mrs. Rees was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Survivors include a son, Wayne Ennen and his wife Julie, Fresno, CA; 2 daughters, Beverly Donley and her husband Robert, Abingdon, IL, Janet Ennen, Quincy; 7 grandchildren, Marcy Rosendale and her husband Jeff, Banger, CA; Laury Ennen, Fresno, CA; Jeffrey Ennen and his wife Darlene, Clovis, CA; Tony Donley , Parkville, MO; Greg Donley and his wife Debbie, Abingdon, IL; Megan and Matthew VaLeu, Quincy; 9 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; one hundred year old sister, Ethel Zeiger, Clayton, IL. She also was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Elmer and Harry Hanke, a sister, Anna Ennen, and a grandson, Brad Donley.
Funeral Services will be 7:00 pm Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, Rev. Roy Bauer officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6-7pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held Thursday morning, June, 17th at 10 am in South Side Cemetery in Clayton, IL.
