He was born Sept. 17, 1901, in Randolph County, Ark., son of L. D. and Martha E. Spencer Rapert.
On Sept. 13, 1922, he married the former Lela J. Johnson. He had resided in Mississippi County since 1941. He was a retired farmer.
Surviving is his wife; sons, Aaron E. and Benny Rapert; daughters, Mrs. Bob Thomason, Mrs. Essie Phillips, Mrs. Harold Hollis and Mrs. Paul Cox; a granddaughter whom he raised, Mrs. Dennis Butler; 15 more grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Saturday at McMikle Funeral Home here. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery here.
