Mrs. Rapert, 84 years old, died today at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Feb. 23, 1903, in Randolph County, Ark., the daughter of Lewis and Addie Lee Blanks Johnston. She married Orvin Raymond Rapert on Sept. 13, 1922, who died July 9, 1981.
She had lived in Mississippi County since 1941, and was a member of the Bridges Methodist Church and its Sunshine Circle.
Survivors include two sons, Aaron E. and Bennie Rapert; four daughters, Mrs. Bob Thomason, Mrs. Bill Abbott, Mrs. Harold Hollis and Mrs. Paul Cox; a granddaughter they reared, Mrs. Jim Biasi; two brothers, Harold and James Johnston; a sister, Eva Valasco; 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
