Obituary: Ida Cameron - Ida Cameron, 87, of 1522 Canterbury Trail, Apt. 1, Mt. Pleasant and formerly of Custer Road, Custer, died Friday at Isabella County Medical Care Facility in Mt. Pleasant.

Ida Swanson was born June 24, 1905 ni Benzonia where she grew up. She attended Western Michigan College where she received her teaching certificate. She taught in Muskegon and later at Mason County Eastern from which she retired in 1970. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Mt. Pleasant and of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Custer where she belonged to the Altar Society. She was also a member of the Retired Teachers Association of Mason County and the Association of Interfaith Ministry.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Ollie (Sue) Watters of Mt. Pleasant, 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial for Mrs. Cameron will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Custer with the Rev. William McKnight celebrant. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Custer.

The family will be at the Stephens Funeral Chapel, Scottville, to receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. A scripture service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorials to the Associaton for Interfaith Ministry. Envelopes are available at the funeral chapel. - Stephens, Scottville
