Mrs. Anna M. Hollem, a resident of Springfield for seventy-four years, died yesterday at St. John's hospital. She was 81 years old. Death followed a ten days illness.
Mrs. Hollem, who resided with a daughter, Mrs. Clara M. Buckley, was a native of St. Louis. She came to Springfield when 7 years old. She was the widow of Hans B. Hollem, who died in 1891.
Surviving are two sons, Elmer and Edgar, both of this city; two daughters, Mrs. Buckley and Miss Mabel L. Hollem of Lake Forest; two brothers, Edward W. Johnson, Salt Lake City, Utah, an E lmer Johnson, Cantrall; two sisters, Misses Clara M. and Rose J. Johnson, both of this city; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran church. Funeral services held at Ellinger & Kunz funeral home tomorrow. Interment will be in Oak Ridge cemetery. Illinois State Journal, Springfield, IL, 2-3-1937
