Died, Sunday, July 14, 1901, at the home of his mother, Henry Albert Johnson, of this city. Mr. Johnson had been ill for many months, suffering with consumption and a complication of other diseases. During the past six years he had resided in Chicago, but about nine months ago he came to Springfield because of his illness. Since that time he had been at his mother's home.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his mother, Mrs. Anna Johnson, and four brothers and four sisters: William B, of Cripple Creek, Colo.; Edward W., of Leadville, Colo.; C. O. and Elmer of this city; Mrs. Anna M. Hollem, Clara M., Lillie P., and Rosa J. Johnson of this city. - IL State Journal, Springfield, IL 7-15-1901
