DEATH OF W. F. CORNMAN

Native of Carlisle and Died in Cleveland, Ohio

William Frederick Cornman died at Cleveland, Ohio, on January 11th.

Mr. Cornman was born in Carlisle in 1816, learned the drug business with Samuel Elliott and later was employed in Philadelphia, Lancaster and Pittsburg. At the time or his death he was assisant (sic) forrester (sic)of the city of Cleveland.

He was the third son of the late Ephraim Cornman and is survived by a large family and several brothers and sisters. His older brother, John, gomerly (sic) an attorney in Carlisle, died in New Haven, last August.

The deceased was a skillful analytical chemist and received a special diploma from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy.

The four surviving brothers are Joseph, of Carlisle: Ephraim, of Washington; Col. Daniel, in the Philippines; Louis of Pittsburg.
