Leona Virginia Sine, 71, of Route 1, Core, died Wednesday November 26, at her home, Born June 27, 1915 in Shaffertown, Near Lead Mine, Tucker County, WV, She was a daughter of the late Mack Arthur Moats and Elsie Lipscomb Moats Sisler. She was a retired housing employee at West Virginia University and was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church at Jakes Run.
She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Sine,
four sons, three daughters,two brothers three Sisters
11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter Velma Gladys Moats Sine and 2 infant sons Virgil and Ernest.
Friends may call at the Owen Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Friday. Services will be held in the funeral home at 1 pm Saturday with the Rev. Brent J. Dugan officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery
