Millville - Alvin W. Moats, Sr., 89, of Millville, passed away peacefully at the South Jersey Extended Care in Bridgeton on Saturday, March 3, 2018. Mr. Moats was born in Erwin, West Virginia. He served in the Army as an S/Sgt during the Korean War.
Mr. Moats was a retired car salesman, working several different dealerships, most notably was Pepe Auto and Lilliston.
He was a member of the American Legion Nabb Leslie Post #82. In his younger years, he was well regarded as an avid and skilled bowler.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Mary Jane (Lloyd); son: Alvin (AJ), Jr; daughter: Vanessa Maslowski (Charles); 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Ricky.
