Mrs. Emma Haas
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Emma Amelia Haas, 93, a longtime resident here who died Saturday at the Sacred Heart hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the City cemetery here. Rev. H. V. Bratz will officiate. Burial will be under the direction of the Mauer funeral home.
Mrs. Haus was born July 11, 1861 at Iola, Wis. She was the wife of Conrad E. Haas, early day hardware dealer here, who died in February, 1949.
She came to Le Mars in 1880 and had resided here since. The last 3 1/2 years, she resided at Sacred Heart hospital here. She was married to Mr. Haas here on October 18, 1882.
Survivors are three sons, Edward C. of Des Moines, Herbert D. of Le Mars, and Wilbur M. of Sarasota, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Rosebery of Le Mars; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two half-brothers, Otto Wernli, Hudson, Wis., Frank Wernli of Hudson, Wis., three half-sisters, Mrs. Clara Paul of Pereu, Ohio, Mrs. Minnie Schaefer of Berla, Ohio and Mrs. Elsie Livingston who lives in Iowa.

She came to Le Mars in 1880 and had resided here since. The last three years she resided at Sacred Heart hospital. She was married to Mr. Haas at Le Mars Oct. 18, 1882.
Survivors are three sons, Edward C. of Des Moines, Herbert D. of Le Mars, and Wilbur M. of Sarasota, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Roseberry of Le Mars; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two half-brothers, Otto Wernli, Hudson, Wis., Frank Wernli of Hudson, Wis., three half-sisters, Mrs. Clara Paul of Berea, Ohio, Frank Wernli of Hudson, Wis., Otto Wernli and Mrs. Minnie Schaefer of Beres, Oho, and Mrs. Elsie Livingston living in Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers besides her husband.
