SWAINSBORO, Ga. — Mrs. Vallie W. Gross, 76, Church Street, died Wednesday in an Emanuel County nursing home.

The funeral will be held at 3:30 p.m. today at the Pendleton Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Dewey Atkins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Gross was a native of Emanuel County and a member of the Pendleton Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, J.W. Gross, Swainsboro; one daughter, Mrs. Roger Shaw, Swainsboro; and four sisters, Mrs. Dora Dryden, Mrs. Frankie Ridgdill, Oak Park, Mrs. Pearl Findley and Mrs. Rosa Ambrose, Lyons.

Pallbearers will be Robert Black, W.L. Findley Jr., R.J. Dryden, Charlie Ambrose, H.G. Ridgdill and Luther Powell.

Friends may call at Peebles-Curry Mortuary, Swainsboro.
