Mrs. Pearl Williamson Findley, 80, of Route One Lyons died at Meadows Memorial Hospital Tuesday night after a long illness. Born in Emanuel County, she was the widow of W. Lawson Findley, Sr. and was a member of Pendleton Springs Baptist Church near Oak Park. She is survived by a son: W.L. Findley, Jr. of Lyons; two stepdaughters: Mrs. Lillian Powell of Oak Park and Mrs. Willie Mae Raulerson of St. Augustine, Fla.; a stepson: W.J. Findley of Lyons; four grandchildren and several step grandchildren, three sisters: Mrs. Dora Dryden and Mrs. Frankie Ridgdill both of Oak Park and Mrs. Rosa Ambrose of Lyons, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Pendleton Springs Baptist Church with Rev. H.G. Ridgdill officiating, and assisted by Rev. Dewey Atkins. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Trapnell-Jones Funeral Home of Lyons in charge of arrangements. Active pallbearers were J.W. Gross, Robert Black, Charles Ambrose, R.J. Dryden, Roger Shaw and Pat Jackson. Honorary were a number of friends.
