She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert W. Simen.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Farrell; granddaughter Lisa Abeyta; and many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. today at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Hobbs.
