She was born on May 20, 1914 in Logan County, AR, to the late John and Alice (Hunneycutt) Birge.
She retired from Valmac Industries in Russellville.
She was the widow of Raymond Rudolph Dixon and was also preceded in death by a step-daughter, Betty Blagg; a step-son, Kenneth Dixon; 1 grandson, Timothy Jackson; a great-granddaughter, Samantha White; a brother, Cecil Birge; a sister, Syble Tucker; and a son-in-law, Eugene Jackson.
She attended Damascus Assembly of God Church at Russellville.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 13, 2002 at the Humphrey Chapel officiated by Rev. Jimmy Nolan and Rev. Ronnie Birge. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park at Russellville, AR under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
