Rosa Lee "Rosie" Freeman was born 27 Feb 1888 in Ft. Smith Arkansas, the second child of James William Freeman and Mary Combs. The family lived right on the cusp of Arkansas and Indian Territory before it became Oklahoma, so it is possible she was born in Indian Territory but her birth was registered at the nearest fort - Ft. Smith, just at the state border. (The next children were born in "Cherokee Strip, OK" and her older sister was sometimes listed as b. OK and sometimes "AR".)
Rosie married Edward Ogletree and they had seven children:

John (settled in Monterey, CA)
Lloyd (died 1968)
Eugene (Oakview CA)
Edward (Salinas, CA)
Archie Claude (4-4-1928 CA - 8-23-1996 Fresno)
Willis (settled in Orangevale, CA)
John, Lloyd and Eugene were born in Oklahoma, then they moved to TX where Ed Jr., Archie and Willis were born.
Rosie died of rectal cancer 25 March 1968 in Merced CA at age 80, where she is buried in Evergreen Memorial Park in Merced.
