She was the daughter of James & Eliza J. Lindsay Loughery, and the widow of James Fleming.

Fleming Rites Tuesday
Services for Mrs. Elizabeth Fleming, 86, who died at her home, 412 Tenth street SE, at 4:05 p.m. Saturday, will be held in the Turner chapel at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. John DeLong, Pastor of the Trinity Methodist church, will officiate, and burial will be in Linwood cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
Mrs. Fleming was born Jan. 10,1859, in County Derry, Ireland. She came to Cedar Rapids from New Hampton, Ia., in 1917. She had lived in this country 64 years.
Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Mary E. Gould of Staples, Minn.; Mrs. Martha I. Bliss, Mrs. Isabel M. Weston and Miss Minnie M. Fleming, all of Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Francis Bender of Iowa City and Mrs. Jennie Zimmerman of Aredale; four sons, George I. Fleming of Cedar Rapids, John Fleming of Grand Junction, Colo., Harry L. Fleming of Mason City and Joseph E. Fleming of Glendale, Calif.; a sister, Jennie Miller, Ireland; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Fleming was a member of Trinity Methodist church.
