Mrs. Lucy Givens Dies at Her Home at Fernvale
Mrs. Lucy Sullivan Givens, 85, died December 26, 1956, at her home in the Fernvale community. Funeral services were held at the Fernvale Methodist Church at 2 o'clock Thursday by Rev. Fenton Warren. Interment in the Beasley cemetery. Mrs. Givens was born
in Williamson county. Her parents were William and Mary Green Sullivan. She was the widow of Sid Givens, who died 40 years ago.
She is survived by daughters, Mrs. Mattie Hoskins of Franklin, Mrs. John Pewitt of Shelbyville, Mrs. Dora Green of Fairview; sons, George W. Givens of Nashville, Johnnie and Ben Givens of Fernvale, Kern Givens of Fairview, Giles Givens of Franklin; 38 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Adeline Rainer of Bon Aqua Grandsons served as pallbearers. Warren Funeral Home in charge
