FUNERAL HELD FOR MRS. RAINEY
Funeral services were held Sunday for Mrs. Richard Rainey, 95, who died Saturday at her home in Craigfield community following a long illness. The Rev. Ocie Slaughter officiated at the services held at 2 p.m. in the Hudgins cemetery, where she was buried.
Mrs. Rainey was a native of Williamson County, the daughter of William and Arvie Green Sullivan and was the former, Miss Adaline Sullivan. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Sarah Jennie Hamons, Fairview community, Mrs. Mandy Sullivan, Arkansas, Mrs. Emma Forehand and Miss Odell Rainey, Primm, Tenn., Mrs. Rosa Haskins, College Grove, Tenn.; five sons, John W., Walter Allen and Herbert Rainey, Primm, Arthur Rainey, Nashville, Frank Rainey, Elizabethtown, Ky., and 68 grandchildren.

Granny Rainey was a mid wife and delivered more than 100 babies in the Craigfield area.
