Tony Jacob Ayers, 57, of Hillsville, passed away Thursday, May 1, 1997 at Twin County Regional Hospital.

He was Magister for the 27 Judicial District.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas James Ayers.

He is survived by wife, Mary Ann Ayers,
three daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth and Ron Besaw of Worcester, Ma; Deborah & Dane Little of Max Meadows; Amy J. Ayers of Springfield, Ma.;
three sons, Thomas James Ayers of Worcester, Ma.; Mark Ayers of Worcester, Ma.; John Steven Brown of North Hampton, Va.; sister, Leila Hurst of La Vergne, Tenn.;
and sisters-in-law, Jack and Linda Ayers of Pulaski; John Ayers of Chicago, Ill.; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services, 11 a.m. Monday, May 5, 1997 at St. Josephs Catholic Church, Woodlawn. Officiating, Father Charles Brickner & the Rev. Dale Akers.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 1997 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville. The family says that flowers would be appreciated however, donations may be made to The Carroll County Public Library.
