Demmie Morice, the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Morice, of Naples, died last Tuesday night at the Bonners Ferry hospital of tubercular meningitis. He had been sick some time and was brought to the hospital the night he died.
The funeral services were held at the I.O.O.F. hall at McArthur on Friday, interment being had in the McArthur cemetery. A large crowd of friends of the deceased and his family attended the services. The high esteem in which the young man was held was expressed in many beautiful floral designs that were brought to decorate his grave. The funeral was conducted by Rev. A. H. Morton,
pastor of the Bonners Ferry Methodist church.
The deceased was a student at the Bonners Ferry high school. He was born in Washington on January 15, 1906. He is survived by his father and mother, a brother and four sisters.
