Wallace Kennedy Hays, 76, died at 6:15 p.m. yesterday at his home, Butler R. D 6.

Born in Adams Township, Butler county, he was a son of the late Lewis H. and Martha Mincer Hays. He had been a resident of this vicinity his entire life.

For 17 years, Mr. Hays was employed by the Pullman Standard Car Company. For 20 years he was an employee of T. W. Phillips Gas and Oil ompany and retired in 1940. He was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mabel Stepp Hays; three daughters, Mrs. Anna Green, Butler R.D. 4, Mrs. Edna O'Neil, Butler R.D. 3 and Mrs. Velma Shever, Butler; two sons, Wallace A. Hays, M.R. 12, and Carl L., at home; three sisters, Mrs. Bird Reddie, McDonald, Pa., Mrs. Jean Warner, Kingsville, Oh., and Mrs. Ellen Margaret Batch, Los Angeles, Calif.; two brothers William of Meridian, and Clarence Hays, Youngstown, Oh.; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Firends of Wallace Kennedy Hays, Butler R. D. 6, who died Sunday, Feb. 5, 1956 will be received at the Thompson Funeral Home Monday and Tuesday. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home Wednesday. Burial will be in Summit Presbyterian Cemetery.
