NELLIE E. ROE, 79, died Friday in Brighton Hall Nursing Center, New Haven.
The Warren native lived in Fort Wayne most of her life and retired in 1971 as a secretary for St. Joe Central School after 15 years. She was a member of the Cameo Junior Women's Club.
Surviving are her husband, Gail; a daughter, Rita Bakalar of Fort Wayne; and three grandchildren.
Services are 11 a.m. tomorrow in D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, where calling is 10 to 11 a.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens.
Preferred memorials are gifts to the Allen County Cancer Society.
