Funeral for Helen Clack, 89, Lawton, will be at 1:30 pm Friday, September 9, at Sterling United Methodist Church, Sterling, Oklahoma, with Rev. Michael J. Dye officiating.
Family will greet friends on Thursday between 6:00 and 8:00 pm at the Funeral Home.
Mrs. Clack died Tuesday in a Lawton retirement center.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Lawton under the direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Lawton.
She was born April 17, 1922, in Caney, Oklahoma to Albert Lee and Paris City (Brawner) Gunkel. Helen married Kenneth H. Ledgerwood in Walters, OK on October 20, 1940 and he passed away on July 29, 1956. She later married Weldon Clack in Borger, Texas on May 20, 1967 and he passed away in 1984. She worked as a beautician for many years and at Lorene's Mexican Kitchen. She was a member of United Wesley Methodist Church, Borger, Texas and attended services at Sterling United Methodist Church, Sterling when she was able.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Lorene Bender, Cache and Patsy and husband Bob Jacobi, Sterling; 5 grandchildren, Rodney Smith, Shannon and wife Judy Bender, Laurisa Pruitt, Kista and husband Craig Taylor and Karena and husband Leslie Kuntz; 14 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 husbands; 2 brothers, William David Gunkel and Alfred Gunkel; 2 sisters, Louise Clawson and Inez Price and a grandson, Kenneth Scott Green.
