STINNETT - Inez Price, 82, died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Stinnett Church of Christ. Burial will be in Stinnett Cemetery by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Inez Price left this life on Jan. 24, 2010, to be with her heavenly father; her beloved husband, Bob; and her son, Rusty. She was born Dec. 24, 1927, to Albert and Paris Gunkel.

Inez married Bob Price on Oct. 10, 1945, and they were married for 63 years before his death in 2008. They spent their entire married life in Borger and Stinnett.

Inez was a member of Stinnett Church of Christ. She was a loving and godly woman, faithful to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She loved her husband and family dearly. Her grandchildren lovingly call her "Granny," and they adore her.

Inez was loved as a mother not only by her daughter, Donna, but also by her nieces and nephews who referred to her as "Momma Nez." She was the most giving person anyone could ever know. One time she went to a rent house to collect the rent where the tenants were behind by about six months. She was determined to collect some money. When she got there a little girl tugged on her coat and asked if she had anything for her to eat. Inez left the house, went to the grocery store, bought some groceries for the family and never mentioned the rent money they owed her. What a kind heart she had! We love you, Momma, Granny, Great-Granny, Momma Nez, and we will miss you!

She was preceded in death by her 5-year-old son, Rusty, in 1953; her husband, Bob, in 2008; two brothers, W.D. Gunkel and Alfred Gunkel; and a sister, Louise Clawson.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Simons and husband Rodney of Borger; a sister, Helen Clack of Borger; two grandsons, Brad Simons and wife Andrea of Carrollton and Bobby Simons of Allen; and two great-granddaughters, Summer and Claire Simons, both of Carrollton.

Pallbearers include Bobby Simons, Gary Clawson, Don Tindall, Jack Tolleson, Bob Tolleson and Jon Tolleson.

The family suggests memorials be to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, in honor of Summer Simons, 8111 LBJ Freeway, Suite 425, Dallas, TX 75251.
