SPANGLER – On May 10, 1948, at 2:43 a.m., at his residence, 1148 East King Street, Lewis J. Spangler, husband of the late Effie D. Spangler, aged 73 years, 8 months, 24 days.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Strack and Strine Funeral Home, 1205 East Market Street, on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock (D.S.T.) Interment in Mt. Rose Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call at the Strack and Strine Funeral Home on Tuesday evening.

Lewis J. Spangler

Lewis J. Spangler, husband of the late Effie D. Spangler, died at 2:43 a.m. yesterday at his home, 1148 East King Street. He was 73.
Surviving are seven children: Mrs. Meredith Rupp, 1153 East King Street; Mrs. Florence Kitzmiller, 521 West Market Street; Robert Spangler, 8 South Keesey Street; Paul Spangler and Mrs. Julia Strickler, both at home; Mrs. Mildred Campbell, 1253 West Poplar Street; Charles Spangler, 1146 East King Street, and two sisters, Mrs. Robert Anderson, 933 Linden Avenue, and Mrs. Edwin S. Resser, 545 West Philadelphia Street.
He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
Funeral services will be held at the Strack and Strine Funeral Home, 1205 East Market Street, at 2 p.m. tomorrow. Rev. Herbert G. Kline, pastor of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery.
