Mrs. Emma J. Miller, wife of Adam C. Miller, East Berlin, died at the Union Memorial Hospital, Baltimore, yesterday morning at 10 o'clock, following an illness of about six months, due to cancer. She was confined to the hospital for the past eight weeks. She was aged 47 years, 8 months and 2 days.
She is survived by her husband; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Spangler, York, and the following brother and sisters; Mrs. Edwin Resser, Miss Fannie Spangler and Lewis Spangler, all of York, and Mrs. Clarence Chronister, Spring Grove.
The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon, leaving the house at 1:30 p.m., proceeding to Trinity Lutheran Church, where services will be held. Interment will take place in the Union Cemetery.
