MRS. ANDREW D. SPANGLER
Mrs. Alice Jane Etta Bupp, wife of Andrew D. Spangler, died at 11:15 a.m. yesterday at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Chronister, Spring Grove. She was aged 76 years, seven months and 24 days. Death was caused by a complication of diseases. Mrs. Spangler formerly resided in York and was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran church in York.
Surviving Mrs. Spangler are her husband and these children: Mrs. Chronister, with whom she resided; Mrs. Edwin S. Resser, Lewis J. Spangler, and Fannie A. Spangler, all of York. She also leaves the following sisters: Mrs. Peter K. Glatfelter, near Glen Rock; Mrs. Emma Miller, New Oxford; Mrs. Virginia Zeigler and Miss Ella Bupp, both of East Berlin, and Mrs. Alverta Coulson, West York. Eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Chronister home in Spring Grove. Interment will be made in the East Berlin Cemetery.
