Son of Rev. Samuel A. and Sarah Ellen Kenoyer Kenoyer. Husband of Martha Johnson, married 11 NOV 1873 in Clark County, Missouri.

OBITUARY: Hamilton County Register - Saturday May 18, 1895 - front page:
Died: at Broken Bow, On Monday May 13th, of bowel disease, E. B. Kenoyer formerly of Munroe precinct. The remains were brought to Richland cemetery in Hamilton County for interment and a large concourse of his old neighbors followed him to the grave and joined in sympathy to the sorrowing relatives.

May 13, 1895: ELLIS B. KENOYER died at Broken Bow, without a will. He left his widow, Martha Kenoyer and children, John S. age 21, Della F. age 19, Hugh age 18, and Henry Ernest age 11. His estate was probated; he owned northeast quarter Sec.17, Twp.17, Range 20, 5 head horses, 2 cows, farm implements and household goods.

RELATIVES: Also buried in Richland Cemetery are, Harris Scott Kenoyer (infant son of Ellis B. Kenoyer), Lou or Lura Kenoyer (sister), Lillian Kenoyer (sister), and Malinda Maggard (infant daughter of Mary Isabelle (Kenoyer) Maggard, also a sister).
