WILLARD – Cleo Braithwaite Braegger, 83 passed away at her home on Monday, June 14, 2010.

Cleo was born on October 13, 1926 in Idaho Falls, Idaho a daughter of Francis Herbert and Emeline Jenson Braithwaite.

She graduated from Arco High School. She spent the last 63 years in Willard.

She worked at Hill Field as an air craft mechanic, where she met her husband. Cleo married Richard Eugene Braegger, Sr. on October 1, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Cleo loved singing with her husband, in her ward choir and with the Singing Mothers. She served in various callings including: teaching Primary, in the Mutual Presidency, Relief Society Chorister, and was a visiting teacher Supervisor.

Cleo and Richard served two full time missions at the Brigham City LDS Employment Center. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, service to neighbors and friends and square dancing.

Surviving are her children: Cleanne (Ken) Barker, Willard; Rich (Debby) Braegger, Willard; Rod (Debbie) Braegger, Lehi; 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings: Jack H. Braithwaite , Vancouver, WA; Valois (Leonard) Hartley, Boise, ID; sister-in-law Naoma Braithwaite, Orem, UT; and brother-in-law Robert English, Spanish Fork, UT.

Preceded in death by her husband Richard, parents, brother, Garth Braithwaite, two sisters: Melva Dean English and Mary Clevon (Ray) Haskell.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Willard 4th Ward Chapel, 80 N. 100 W., Willard.
