Funeral services for Herman L Bilbrey, 32, son of Mr & Mrs George W [Flora Mae Howard] Bilbrey, of the 4th district of Overton County, were held at the McFerrin Church Sunday at 10:30 a.m. with burial in the Burchett cemetery here. He died of internal cancer June 7. He is survived by his wife, Mrs.
Ella McClain Bilbrey, and five children; Anna, Aron, Robert, Barbara Jean and {illegible}. Also by his mother and father and by the following brothers and sisters: Elbert, Delton, Kenneth, Delma [sp?], V[illegible}, Louveda and Mrs. Velma Peterman, and his grandfather, Jonah F Howard.
