Lattie "Pat" Bilbrey Davis Cannon, 88, of Horse Shoe, NC, went to be with the Lord Wednesday morning, July 23, 2008 at Pardee Memorial Hospital.

Born in Timothy, TN, she was the daughter of the late George Washington Bilbrey and Flora Mae Howard Bilbrey, and wife of the late Grady Davis, who died in 1954, and the late Euria Cannon, who died in 2000.

She had resided in Henderson County most of her life and was a member of Forge Valley Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving family, four sons, Lindal Davis and wife, Drucilla, of Zirconia; Aaron Davis and wife, Suzanne, of Elberta, AL; James Rodney Cannon and wife, Etta, of Saluda; and Sidney Allen Cannon and wife, Jenny, of Black Mountain; three daughters, Brenda Robertson and husband, Herman, of Fletcher; Faye Stanley and husband, Alan, of Chesnee, SC; and Brenda Wells and husband, Frank, of Fletcher; one sister, Loverda Upton of Cookeville, TN; twenty-four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, July 27, 2008 at Forge Valley Baptist Church with the Reverends Wayne Owens and Thomas Glenn officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery at East Flat Rock. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
