Cockman, Juanita Lucille Dethrow

Juanita Lucille Dethrow, daughter of E.D. and Dallas Dethrow, was born near Couch, Missouri on January 30, 1918. She departed this life on December 1st, 1961 in the Hillcrest Hospital, Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 43 years, 10 months and 1 day. She was united in marriage to Charles W. Cockman of Alton, Missouri, February 19th, 1936. To this union was born four children: Charles Glendon, of the United States Navy; Carol June Willbourn, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Charlotte Jean McKee of the home; and Juanita Chere‚ of the home. She professed a hope in Christ at an early age. She was a member of the Carbondale Assembly of God Church.


She was preceded in death by a brother, a sister and her father and mother. She leaves to mourn her passing, besides her husband and four children, three sisters and one brother. They are: Mrs. Grace Gamet of Los Angeles, California; Vida Helen Corbin of Toledo, Ohio; Marie Conner of St. Louis, Missouri; and Lee Dethrow of Couch, Missouri. She also leaves a host of other relatives and friends. Juanita Cockman was buried on December 5th, 1961, in Memorial Park, located just outside of Tulsa, Okla. Those from this area who went to Tulsa to attend the funeral services were: Mr. and Mrs. L.L.Cockman, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Cockman, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Cockman, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Dethrow, Mr. Ovie Corbin, Mrs. John E. Barton.
