Llyle Marie Dethrow Conner, 85, of Greenbrier passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2009. Born in Couch, Mo, she was a daughter to the late Eli David and Virtie Beulah (O'Neil) Dethrow. Marie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved to be in her flower garden. Marie had been a teacher in the Mitchell School in Oregan County, MO and worked at Small Arms Ammunition in St. Louis, MO during WWII. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Greenbrier.
A son Jimmyray David Conner; two sisters Vida Kern and Grace Gamett and one brother Lee David Dethrow also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Alfred Conner, daughter Linda Hughs of Greenbrier, grandchildren: James Conner and wife Jennifer of St. Louis, MO, John Conner and wife Danielle of West Plains, MO, Mike Conner and wife Melissa of Pevely, MO, Jason Hughs and wife Elaine of Conway, AR, Sarah Hughs of Hot Springs, AR and Phoebe Leslie and husband Mark of Jonesboro, AR; nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2009 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier, AR with Bro. Gaylon King officiating. Family visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, February 5, at the funeral home.

A funeral service will also be held in Thayer, MO at 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 7, at Carter Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Cotton Creek Cemetery in Alton, MO.
