Saturday June 16, 1934

Buel Branning 29 of Honesdale, died at his home of Fair Avenue, Thruday morning June 14, 1934, following a short illness of preumonia. He was employed by the state highway department. Surviving are his wife, Laura Branning, his father and mother, Mr.& Mrs. William Branning, and the following brothers and sisters; Walter, Frank, Lucy and Mrs. Ross Hessberger. Funeral services will be held from the home on Saturday afternoon at 2:30. Burial at the Bolkcom cemetery at Rileyville, Pa

Buel Branning, aged 29, died at his home in Honesdale, Pa. , Thursday, June 14th. a victim of pneumonia. Deceased was born at Lordville April 17, 1905. When a small boy his parents purchased a farm on the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware river, one mile from Equinunk, Pa.
Recently he was united in marriage with Miss Laura Vail and they went to Honesdale to reside, he holding a position with the State Highway Department. He was a member of the Lookout lodge of Odd Fellows. Surviving beside his wife are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Branning, two brothers and two sisters, Walter and and Frank and Lucy of Equinunk and Mrs. Ross Hesberger of Maybrook. The funeral service was held at his home on Fair Avenue Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, and interment made in Bolcom cemetery near Rileyville, Pa. Members of the Department of Highways acted as pall bearers.
