SMITH – Mrs. Lulu V. Smith, twenty-four, 1915 L, died in Lincoln Wednesday at 9:15 p.m. She had lived in Lincoln eight years. Surviving are her husband, Harry F.; one son, Charles E.; seven sisters, Mrs. Ethel Branstitre and Mrs. Edna Hattan, Edgar; Mrs. Flossie Veith, Bayard; Mrs. Cleo Seibel, Chicago; Mrs. Nellie Wilcox, Doniphan; Mrs. Doris Hedges, Reasnor, Ia.; Mrs. Belle Whitesal, Kenesaw, and two brothers, Roy Bird, Henderson, and Guy Bird, Aurora. The body is at Wadlow's, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Rev. E. C. Ford of the Congregational church at Grand Island in charge. Burial in Wyuka.
