Ted Skorupa, 75, of Ashton died Thursday at a Loup City hospital.
Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church in Ashton. The Rev. Andrew Gonda will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1-9 p.m. at Loup City Memorial Funeral Home with a rosary at 8.
Mr. Skorupa was born April 23, 1907, at Tarnov, the son of Michael and Mary (Bogus) Skorupa. He grew up and received his education near Paplin and at Ashton Public School. He farmed with his grandfather for many years and later worked at the lumber yard in Ashton. In 1980 he retired and moved to Rose Lane Nursing Home in Loup City. He never married.
He was a member of St. Francis parish in Ashton.
Survivors include two sisters, Bernice Skorupa of Loup City and Sister Adelle Skorupa of Ingleside, Ill.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Alois, Leo, Cyril and Henry.
