Mrs. Finnell Expires at Massillon
Mrs. John Finnell, who was taken to Massillon Hospital Thanksgiving Day, died at the hospital Thursday, Dec 2. Owing to physical disabilities she suddenly lost her reason, was judged insane by the Probate Court and was sent as above stated.
Her maiden name was Alma Mirise and in her younger days was one of the ablest school teachers of the county. She was married some years ago, was a mother of 6 children, and was only 32 years old. She was a good Christian woman, a member of the M. E. Church of Roscoe. She leaves behind her husband and six children, 3 sisters, Lena and Beulah of the state of Washington, and Mrs. Uriah Foster of Jackson Township; one brother at Sheridan, Pennsylvania. She leaves also an aged father John Mirise.
Undertaker Price of Roscoe, went to Massillon and if he can arrange satisfactorily, the body will arrive in Coshocton Friday on Panhandle No 3; if it is possible to come that way, the remains will arrive by the Wheeling at 8:23pm.
Funeral services will be held at the M. E. Church, Roscoe, Saturday at 2 o'clock.
