HOLT-McLOUGHLIN --
At bishop Keane's house in Cheyenne on Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock occurred the wedding of Miss Maud HOLT and Mr. James McLOUGHLIN. The marriage was solemnized in the presence of the relatives of the young people. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Hilda HOLT, and the groom by his brother, Mr. Thomas McLOUGHLIN. Services held for Mrs. McLOUGHLIN; resident 51 years
Services were held Tuesday for Mrs. Maude McLOUGHLIN, a Pinedale resident for 51 years, who died Friday at the Jackson hospital.
She was born May 12, 1886 at Cheyenne, Wyoming and was wed to James McLOUGHLIN in 1907 in Cheyenne. Mr. McLOUGHLIN died in 1920.
She came to Sublette County with her family in 1911 where they have ranched west of Pinedale since that time.
Services were held at 2 p.m. at the Community Congregational Church with Rev. Raleigh Denison officiating. Vocalist was Nancy Clark with Mrs. Jack Kerback at the organ. Burial was in Pinedale Cemetery.
She is survived by her two sons, Laurence McLOUGHLIN of Daniel, Wyoming and James McLOUGHLIN of Pinedale; one sister, Mrs. Dick (Lee) THOMSON of Cora, Wyoming, and now living at Willow Lake, British Columbia; two brothers, W.D. HOLT, Ennis, Montana, and Eugene HOLT, Silver Creek, Montana; two grandchildren, Mrs. Frank (LaVonne) Dexter and Melvin McLoughlin; three great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pall bearers were Bob Clark, Melvin McLoughlin, Bob Ingalls, Melvin Gurney, Dick Thompson, and High McPhie. [Image #7]. Houseguests of the Henry HITTLE's this week were Mr. and Mrs. W. D. HOLT from Ennis, Montana. They where here to attend the funeral for Mrs. Maude McLOUGHLIN, Mr. HOLT was a brother of Mrs. McLOUGHLIN. [Image #7]. *anc.com 06/2010.
