The Holt family ranched near Cheyenne Wyoming and in 1911 the family moved to near Cora now Sublette County, Wyoming then Gene moved to Ranch in Bondurant, Sublette, WYO. We locals call it the Hoback Basin, where the snow is deep and the winters are long. Gene had had enough digging snow and decided to move to Silver Star, Madison, Montana in 1947. He was appointed Post Master in Bondurant in 1931. Interest old Wyoming Cowboy.
