MRS. MIRIAM MCDIVITT DIES AT SISTER'S HOME
Mrs. Miriam McDivitt, 54 years old, 207 South Twelfth street, died last night at the home of her sister, Mrs. Will Reid in Winchester, Ind., after a short illness.

Mrs. McDivitt had only been sick a short time and the cause of death is unknown. An autopsy will be held to determine the cause of death.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Willard Yeo of California and Mrs. Raymond Myrick of Whiting, Indiana. She was a member of the Athanea Society and the South Eighth street Friends church.

The body will [be] brought to Richmond and funeral arrangements will be announced later.

FUNERAL OF MRS. MCDIVITT TO BE MONDAY
Body of Well Known and Loved Woman to Arrive from Winchester Today

The body of Mrs. Miriam McDivitt, 54 years old, who died Friday night at the home of her sister in Winchester, Ind., will be brought to Richmond this morning and will be taken to her home 208 South Twelfth street where friends may call this afternoon and evening.

Mrs. McDivitt was a prominent member of the South Eighth street Friends church always taking part in all the activities of the church and Sunday school. She was a faithful attendant at the meeting of the church and worked hard to attain success in anything she attempted in work both in the church and in her clubs. She was president of the Richmond Federation of clubs until the Woman's club was formed with which she became affiliated. She was a member of the Athenea society and the Aftermath club and many others in this city.

During the war drives and the Red Cross drives of various kinds Mrs. McDivitt was ever ready to help and she worked as hard if to harder than any other woman to make them a success. She was a constant worker at the Red Cross rooms and was a member of the Eastern Star lodge.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Raymond Myrick of Whiting, Indiana, who will not be able to be at the funeral because of illness, one step daughter, Mrs. Willard Yeo of California, and two sisters, Mrs. Reed of Winchester and Mrs. Gaar of northern Indiana.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10 o'clock from the home, The Rev. Andrew F. Mitchell of the South Eighth street Friends' church officiating. Burial will be at Earlham. "
