ERMINIA "Minnie" CHAVEZ (deceased-born Dec 16, 1926): Minnie was born in Albuquerque NM; she was two years old when her father, Filiberto, passed away. She married Manuel Baca (born April 13, 1924) and had three children: Ronald Steven Baca, Patricia Baca Riberal and Christina Baca Sell, all from Stockton, California. Minnie and Pita's mother, Antonia Lucero Chávez, married Domingo Romero in 1929 after the death of her first husband, Filiberto Chávez, in 1928. The 1930 Albuquerque census shows Minnie and Pita Chavez as stepchildren to Domingo Romero and "married one year to Antonia." The Romero family then moved to Stockton CA in 1942. Antonia Lucero Romero passed away June 7, 1963, in California. Minnie's baptismal Godparents were Froilán (her father's brother) & Juanita Chávez from Belén NM. Minnie passed away from cancer June 15, 2000, at 73 years old in Stockton CA.

Baca of Stockton; children, Christine Sell, Ronald Steven Baca and patti Riberal, all of Stockton; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Sevices: vigil, 5 pm Sunday; DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St.
