Antonia Lucero, was born in Pinos Wells, New Mexico to Emilio Lucero and Maria Fabania Savedra. She was married to Filiberto Chavez from Bosque, New Mexico and had three girls from this marriage. The girls were Clarinda, Ermina and Pita. Antonia married Domingo Romero in 1929 after the death of her first husband, Filiberto Chávez, in 1928. The 1930 Albuquerque census shows Minnie and Pita Chavez as stepchildren to Domingo Romero and "married one year to Antonia." The Romero family then moved to Stockton CA in 1942. Antonia Lucero Romero passed away June 7, 1963, in California.
