Today the rock sign in the cemetery reads "San Jose del El Rosario Cemetery". This cemetery and a nearby plot of land were originally on the outskirts of town. When the I-25 freeway was built [sometime in the 1960's], the other plot of land started burials and was named the Benino Cemetery.

On July 9, 1923 at San Felipe Church he married Antonia Lucero from Manzano, NM. She is the daughter of Emilio Lucero and Maria Fabiana Saavedra. His three daughters were Clarinda Chavez (March 18, 1924)died at two years old. Simplicia known as Pita born 1925 and passed away at 71 on Mar 15, 1996. She married Raul "Ralph" Nodal Ramos on Nov 12, 1950, in Stockton CA. She had only 1 daughter, Loretta Ramos Gonzales. Erminia Chavez known as Minnie (Dec 16, 1926) (Died June 15,2000). She married Manuel Baca from Stockton, California. Her three children were; Patty Ribera, Christine Sell and Ronald Baca.
Filiberto and family lived at 423 South 3rd St. and 317 West Pacific Ave.; both addresses in Albuquerque, NM
