"Mrs. Mary Luella Klopp Dies; Rites Wednesday

Mrs. Mary Luella Klopp, 76, died Monday at 12:45 p.m. at her home on the Blair's Ferry road following a brief illness.

Born in Linn county May 25, 1873, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Stockberger, she spent her entire life in this vicinity. She was married to Stephen Klopp Nov. 20, 1890, in Marion. Mr. Klopp died in 1924. Mrs. Klopp was a member of the Methodist church.

Surviving are five sons, Daniel J., Lloyd L., and Loren E. Klopp of Cedar Rapids, and Orlan M. Klopp of Walker; five daughters, Erma M. Klopp, Mrs. Ida L. Bruce, and Mrs. Laura A. Bowser of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Mary E. Cleveland of Chicago, and Mrs. Gladys M. Wood of Springville; a sister, Mrs. Verna Baker, Cedar Rapids; a brother Arthur Stockberger, Eugene, Ore.; 23 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Yocom-Murdoch chapel by the Rev. James P. Gable and the Rev. Charles Moore. Burial will be in the Oak Shade cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel."
