"Services Monday for Arthur Thomas Klopp

Services for Arthur Thomas Klopp, 1510 J avenue NE, who died Friday following a long illness, will be conducted in the Turner chapel at 1:30 p.m. Monday by the Rev. Allen E. Schoff and Mt. Hermon lodge, A.F. and A.M. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial cemetery.

Mr. Klopp, a lifelong resident of Cedar Rapids and Marion, was an employee of the board of education and a former president of the Cedar Rapids Federation of Labor.

Born April 13, 1904, in Marion, he was married to Fern Tritle June 20, 1925, in Marion. He was a member of Central Park Presbyterian church, Mt. Hermon lodge, Iowa Consistory, and El Kahir Shrine.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Robert Klopp, of Cedar Rapids; two daughters, Arlene and Mary Lou, both at home; his mother, Mrs. Mary Klopp, of Marion; five sisters, Miss Erma Klopp, Mrs. Laura Bowser, and Mrs. Ida Bruce, all of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Gladys Wood of Springville, and Mrs. Mary Cleveland of Chicago; five brothers, Dan, Lloyd, and Loren Klopp, all of Marion, Wilbur, of Cedar Rapids, and Olen, of Walker, and one grandson.

Friends may call at the Turner chapel. All Master Masons are asked to meet with the Mt. Hermon lodge at Masonic hall at 1 p.m. Monday to attend the services."
