Lois Clara Mueller Palmer
Lois Clara Mueller Palmer, age 83, left this world to join her Heavenly Father on Wednesday June 20, 2012. Born in Bellevue, Iowa on July 9, 1928 to Alfred Joseph Mueller and Nettie Hazel Heacock Mueller. She graduated from St. Joseph Catholic School in 1946 and on July 14, 1948 married Harry Clarke Palmer Jr. Lois and Harry moved from Bellevue, Iowa to Clinton, Missouri on Mother's Day 1949. A devout Catholic, she was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church for more than 63 years. Lois retired in May of this year from Zenith Specialties after 40 years of service. She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband Harry Clarke Palmer Jr., son Bruce Clarke Palmer, grandson Cody Lee Palmer and great grandson Zachery Allen Palmer. She is survived by her children Gary (Pam) Palmer of Adamsville, Alabama and David (Cindy) Palmer of Grandview, MO; her sisters Mary E Weisnewski of Bellevue, Iowa, Bernice Belitz of Illinois, and Betty Ripley of Austin, MN; her brother Ferdinand Mueller of Canon City, Colorado; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, neices, nephews, and friends who will miss her very much. Visitation will be Sunday from 6 - 8 p.m. at Vansant Mills Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Monday June 25 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Clinton Memory Gardens. In leiu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Holy Rosary's Building Fund.
