Stockwell, Jul 1, - Rev. Walter Roudebush, 49, minister of the United Brethren church for 17 years, died at 5:45 o'clock this morning at the family home, north of Conroe, after an illness of three years. The Monroe and Conroe churches were his last charge five years ago. Rev. Roudebush was born May 28, 1887, a son of George and Martha Roudebush, and was married to Ethel Bales, June 19, 1912. He was a member of the Conroe U. B. church and the Modern Woodmen Lodge in Lafayette. Surviving are the widow, and two daughters, Mrs. Lois Moore, Lafayette, and Maxine, at home. The body was removed to the Dickerson funeral home, Stockwell, and will be returned to the residence, Thursday afternoon, where friends may call after 2 o'clock. The funeral will be held at the Conroe U. B. church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock; interment in Conroe cemetery.
