THE DEATH OF MARTHA E ROUDEBUSH
Mrs Martha E Roudebush, a lifelong resident of Tippecanoe county, died at 12:20 o'clock Sunday morning at the home of her son, Rev W J Roudebush, at Colburn. She had been in poor health for several months and her demise resulted from a complication of diseases. Mrs Roudebush was born in this county August 7, 1855. She was united in marriage to George M Roudebush December 27, 1884. Her husband preceded her in death four years ago. She was a member of the United Brethren church of Concord, Surviving besides the son, Rev Roudebush, are a foster-daughter, Mrs W Rusk, of Lafayette; a brother, A W Ash, of Concord; two sisters, Mrs Mary Oglesby, of Raymondsville, Texas, and Mrs C W Oglesby, of Holloway, Kansas; a niece, Mrs George Starkey, of Lafayette; a nephew, Pierce Smith, of Buck Creek and two grandchildren, Maxine and Lois Roudebush of Colburn. Brief funeral services will be conducted at the son's home at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning and at 11 o'clock at the Concord U B church, Rev W E Stanley, pastor of the Pyrmont U B Church, officiating. Burial in Concord Cemetery.
