Note: The information regarding Benicia Isabel Vallejo, was given 78 years after her death, by her sister, Mrs Louisa Vallejo Emparan (wife of Ricardo Emparan), only surviving child of the 18 children of the Vallejo family. Mrs. Emparan secured the data from records written by her father General Vallejo, in the bible presented to him by P. Deyeart, an early priest of the Sonoma Mission. Mrs Emparan also gave the information that Martin Cook, friend of her father, was buried in the same plot. This plot is part of the ranch now owned by William Montini (now being about 1935)

Gravesite Details
In August 2011 Julie Eitel went to General Vallejo's home and spoke to people that work there. They are unaware of any burials on the property. The only burials they know of are in Sonoma Mountain Cemetery. Thank you for your efforts Julie.
