Josh served 20 years in the US military. He was a survivor at Pearl Harbor, Scofield Barracks on December 7, 1941. When his tour of duty was up, he transferred to the Army where he was joined the Normandy Invasion (but on the 3rd, 4th or 5th day - not the first day or second). When that tour was over, he again transferred to the Air Force where he regained his rank of Captain.
